The GM4200 platform was a front-wheel drive subcompact platform created by General Motors. It started use in 1982 on the Vauxhall/Opel Corsa A, and lasted all the way up until 2021 with the second generation, Latin American-market Chevrolet Montana compact pickup. It was sold in every major market besides the United States, across 9 different marques and 22 different model names.
The GM4200 used 54 different engines. Most were Opel engines, but there were a few from Isuzu and Daewoo.
